Flying High

If you have never had the privilege of shooting a horse jumping event your missing a real treat when it comes to timing, With the rider and horse moving up and down in the frame it gives you a couple of more things to think about as you are getting ready to take the shot. As I shot these I cut the riders head off on many shots but most came early in the shoot as I was getting settled trying to find the perfect position to capture the whole course. As the day progressed my timing got better and I learned to anticipate where the action would be in the frame.
